Universe Generation

Description

Universe generation encompasses those games which attempt to model the whole universe from the level of star generation, to planetary systems, to the surfaces of planets, propagation of life and so on. Universe generation typically uses dynamic world generation to reduce the storage requirements of a whole universe of content.

Elite and Spore are the two most well known examples of universe generation. SpaceEngine is a highly realistic game which utilizes universe generation.
