Description
Civilization IV is a continuation in the highly acclaimed Civilization series of turn-based strategy games. You must lead your people to success in the modern era from ancient times, learning from a complex technology tree and building cities, armies and Wonders.
Civilization IV is notable for streamlining many of the unnecessary actions from earlier games and is probably the most accessible of the series.
Use of Procedural Content Generation Methods
Civilization IV allows random maps to be generated in order to play on unique worlds. A variety of world types are available out of the box, but because this version of the game was built from the ground up with modding in mind, the world generation system is scripted and allows complex scripting to modify the process.
