Pcg Wiki

About this Site

The Procedural Content Generation Wiki was set up on the 11th of May, 2008 by Andrew Doull as a central repository of information about procedural content generation. This followed a series of articles discussing the topic, and a realisation that although the concept had been around forever in Internet Time, PCG as a solution always seemed five years away. This wiki exists as a central location for the discussion of Procedural Content Generation and as a seed for the PCG explosion about to come.

The Plan

The initial plan is to import as much thinking about procedural content generation from the Ascii Dreams blog and then announce this wiki as a resource for others. The generation tag on the blog is a collation of this information.
